Activities > "Around The World In 180 Days"

 

 

The International Club took part in a variety of activities that were sponsored through a grant called "Around The World In 180 Days." This project was designed to enhance and increase the knowledge of WSC students, and the local and regional community members, in international concerns. A series of programs explored cultural and cross-cultural communication, experiential learning about other cultures through presentations and other means, and opportunities for interactive learning. Partial support for this project was provided by the U.S. Department of State, through a grant from the Cooperative Grants Program of NAFSA: Association of International Educators.

 

One of the activities offered was a Spring International Dinner and Entertainment Night. It was similar to our usual offering in the Fall, but this dinner concentrated more on the educational aspect. Below are pictures of the International Club Menbers in action...
