Where is Wayne, Nebraska?

Wayne is 2 hours from Sioux Falls, SD---Going through Vermillion, SD.
Wayne is 45 miles straight SOUTH of Vermillion, SD on HWY 15 South.

Wayne is 2 hours 45 minutes from Worthington, MINN going through Le Mars, Iowa.

Wayne is 50 miles straight WEST of Sioux City, Iowa on HWY 20/35 WEST.
Wayne is 55 miles from Onawa, Iowa/Decatur Nebraska (I-29 Interstate Bridge)

Wayne is 99 miles North/West of Omaha on Hwy 275/15.
Wayne is 110 miles Straight North of Lincoln on Hwy 77/275/15
Wayne is 28 miles EAST of Norfolk on HWY 35.

Very, Very, Very, Very
IMPORTANT COMING FROM South Dakota or Minn.

All maps will have you driving 30 extra miles to Sioux City, Iowa to Wayne, NE

A brand new bridge has been built, and not one of the WEB-Maps know about it.
THIS WILL SAVE YOU OVER 30 MINUTES, if you are coming from the North.

Coming from Sioux Falls, SD on I-29 south, EXIT to Vermillion, on HWY 50
This will be on Mile Marker/EXIT #26 for HWY 50 to Vermillion.

Drive 8 miles to VERMILLION, SD and go ALL THE WAY THROUGH town, and go
To the other end of town on Cherry St and actually, leave town 1 mile.

Just after a trailer park, take a LEFT ON HWY 19 SOUTH.
Stay on HWY 19 South,
All the way around the complete S-curve and Don't turn off on Timber Rd.
You are 45 minutes from Wayne, NE

Driving now on HWY 19 South,
You will cross the Missouri River to Nebraska in 7 miles.
Shortly after you cross the river, you will have a STOP SIGN at HWY 12.

Take HWY 12 WEST to Maskell and Obert, population 80.
(Go the opposite way of Newcastle, NE) at the stop sign. GO RIGHT.

This drive on Hwy 12 WEST will only be 8 miles,
3 miles past Obert, will be a LEFT TURN on Hwy 57 to Laurel

On the other side of Laurel, you will take a
LEFT TURN ON Hwy 15 SOUTH (1 block past TRU-VALUE)

for 15 miles to Wayne.

When coming into town simply stay on your hwy, and you will come to the corner of 7th and MAIN Street. (Dairy Queen on that corner). From there go EAST ON 7TH STREET FOR 5 blocks and then take a right (south) at a very large discount store calle PAMIDA. WHEN AT PAMIDA STORE, turn right and go 3 blocks to 4th and Deerborn. We are at that corner of East. 4th and Deerborn at the Wayne City Softball/Little Leuague Rugby Park.

Wayne State Campus is at 14th and Main.


If we are to meet at the bowling alley, that is 13th and Lincoln, just 2 blocks off of 13th and Main Street campus area.


If we are to meet at Riley's Pub, it is on 1st and Main Street
